Williams Abiodun, the lawyer to Ramon Adedoyin, founder of Oduduwa University and Ile-Ife Polytechnic, has claimed that personnel of his client’s resort hid the corpse of Timothy Adegoke, the late scholar, for dread of being arrested.

Adedoyin is the chairman of Hilton Lodge and Resort, Ile-Ife.

“The workers had shared the money that was paid by the guest and did not enter it in the document.

“They realized there was a problem, they took the physique in the useless of the evening and dumped it somewhere and returned to the hotel as if nothing at all happened.

“Chief (Adedoyin) questioned them repeatedly but they all denied it until law enforcement forced them to discuss.

“They did not bury the body, they took the law enforcement to in which the entire body was dumped. Exactly where they dumped the overall body was on farmland on the  Ife/Osogbo highway. The farmers hinted at the law enforcement.

“Only two staff members ended up associated in dumping the corpse of Adegoke: the receptionist and one Kosim who is the plumber of the lodge. Kosim is this Tabligh Muslim, not a spiritualist.”

The attorney claimed the overall body of the late university student was intact when it was recovered.

“Adegoke’s system was intact when it was recovered. He died a purely natural dying because he was resting his head on his palm. He distribute his legs tiredly,” he extra.

“There was no one mark of violence on his overall body. The only offence these individuals committed  was wrongful interference and dumping of the lifeless human body.”

The lawyer also dismissed statements that his customer attempted to bribe the household of the deceased.

“Adedoyin never ever sent me to any of the relatives users of the deceased to bribe them,” he claimed.

“I have hardly ever witnessed any member of the victim’s family. Main was not about when the incident happened. I don’t know when his corpse was identified in the lodge room, but it appears to be he died on Friday evening or Saturday.

“The IPO instructed me that the guy was feeling ill on the 5th of November, that was the reason why the wife was worried and termed her spouse on 6th frequently without the need of anybody selecting. The remains have been almost certainly uncovered on Sunday by one  of the workers.”
