Letter: If rights aren’t pure, then they’re ephemeral

After we abandon religion in our creator, we coincidentally sacrifice pure rights, which we inherit from the next energy than mankind.

Absent the next energy that imbues us with pure rights just by being, the inevitable discount is that any rights are granted by others round us.

And if granted by different people, then they might be amended or withheld based on the judgment of those that maintain themselves as arbiters of what our rights needs to be.

That results in a scramble through which essentially the most muscular, manipulative, beguiling, or ideologically suited to endure the indignities of the scramble ascend to positions of authority.

Elected or appointed, frequently reelected or occupying a secure sinecure, these roles could also be seized with virtuous intent, however human nature inexorably corrodes the character of the administrator.
