Bruce Fein, the American lawyer of Nnamdi Kanu, has threatened to drag Nigeria to the Global Legal Court docket (ICC) over alleged gross violation of his client’s legal rights.

Fein was in courtroom on Wednesday to watch the demo of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), but he was denied entry into the courtroom.

Speaking with journalists right after the proceedings, Fein claimed: “Today was the fifth time I was advised I could not enter the courtroom regardless of the court’s prior purchase that Nnamdi could have obtain to any three persons he needs to.

“I experienced the chance to discuss briefly to him on my way to the courtroom. It is very clear that I am the target in individual. That’s the purpose why this continuing did not transpire today.

“And I’m below to inform Nigerians and the worldwide group that I’m taking this to worldwide tribunals. It is apparent that the Nigerian tribunals are compromised.”

The law firm mentioned he will petition “the Operating Group on Arbitrary Detention in Geneva, the Global Court of Justice in the Hague, the ICC in the Hague and I’ll be going to the United States Congress and urging that sanctions be regarded as against Nigeria for gross violations of basic human rights”.

“I’m listed here not to be an irritant but there are massive worldwide legislation issues that are present in Nnamdi Kanu’s situation. I’m listed here for the reason that I’m an international expert to provide extra enlightenment on what authorized troubles are present here,” Fein added.

In the meantime, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Kanu’s direct counsel, reported the legal team did not wander out of the courtroom, as an alternative, they were locked out.
