Sheriff Ray claimed that on March 27 a deputy was summoned to McMinnville Highway soon after many men and women noticed a female walking in the roadway. On arrival the officer spotted the female, Knowles strolling on the edge of McMinnville Highway in close proximity to Webb Lane.
