Several corrections employees facing disciplinary action after inmate escapes

The lookup for an escaped Mississippi inmate has now spawned into a multi-point out manhunt.

Michael Wilson, 51, escaped from a prison in Rankin County. He was dealt with two times at a Jackson healthcare facility, but is continue to on the free, corrections officials mentioned.

U.S. marshals have joined the manhunt for Wilson who escaped Saturday from the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility on Highway 468. Leo Honeycutt, with the Mississippi Office of Corrections, reported Wilson apparently minimize himself on razor wire when he crawled around the fence and landed on his hip.

Wilson was spotted on Freeway 49 in Richland by another person who saw that he was bleeding.

Honeycutt claimed Wilson said he experienced been in a motorbike wreck and was taken by a Pafford ambulance to the College of Mississippi Professional medical Centre. Wilson still left the medical center but was still bleeding.

Richland police stated he ended up at an O’Reilly’s Automobile Components retail outlet in the metropolis.
